Stress Management with Hypnotherapy

We all need a certain amount of stress in our lives to be able to carry on with our daily routines at work and at home. To have no stress at all would have a very negative impact on our lives; we would become apathetic lazy and lethargic, getting very little done, at the other end of the spectrum too much stress over a long period of time can have a damaging impact on our physical and mental well being.

Stress is something that is very individual. A stressful event to one person may not be stressful at all to someone else. Some people actually thrive on stress and perform better with stress, while others may get very upset with the slightest amount of stress.

The key to managing your own stress levels is to be able to identify when you have too much stress in your life which has become unhealthy, and to have stress reduction skills that work for you. For example some people find that taking exercise or going for a walk helps, where as others may use meditation or self hypnosis to reduce stress levels.
